Illegal piracy is a problem for studios and distributors alike. However the scale of the problem and the costs involved in effective policing are considerable. To this end Ofpact is looking for all those who wish to help combat piracy to join our anti piracy initiative. For a subscription fee of 150 euros per month Ofpact will investigate and collect evidence on every pirateer that is reported to it and every pirateer that Ofpact finds itself. Ofpact will contact the pirateer in question and get them to cease their activities. For very large cases of organized piracy that will require large scale prosecution Ofpact will consult with its members and determine the best strategy for success.

For this to succeed Ofpact hopes that distributors, wholesalers, studios and shops can combine together to fight this crime which is undermining legitimate sales.
