How the system works

Studios, shops and customers can report piracy breaches directly to Ofpact. Ofpact will then investigate these actions and work out the best way to terminate them. Ofpact will keep members informed with newsletters as to how they are progressing.

First prosecution!

Ofpact is pleased to announce their first prosecution for piracy. Ian Watkin of Craven Road was caught by UK Trading Standards with 1000 films masters at his flat. He had been running an illegal pirating website selling films across the UK. Ofpact contacted a private investigator in the UK to gather evidence which they then presented to the relevant authorities who have prosecuted Mr Watkin who could now be facing a prison sentence as well as a heavy fine.
